Our Values

What we value

An environmentally-centred ethos

Heritage: Antique Brass Key With Antique Books

Heritage

We look to the past to understand the present and plan for tomorrow. Accordingly, Penheale’s vibrant historical legacy is the lynchpin to today’s strategic thinking and future-proofing, enabling us to preserve and protect for posterity.

The Stables, Penheale

Conservation

Most of Penheale’s land, agriculture and Grade I and Grade II listed properties are tenanted. To that end, we take great pride ensuring high standards are met and maintained for farm, residential clients, and surrounding fauna and flora.

Community

Penheale’s relationship with the local community has evolved throughout its centuries-old history. Previous incumbents were major local employers, Vicar to Egloskerry Church and rallied pro-Royalist troops against Cromwell! Today, we maintain tradition but with active participation in local affairs, events and fundraisers.

Tomorrow

An environmentally-centred ethos will greatly improve our natural capital and biodiversity net gain (BNG) ad-infinitum, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future - not just for the next generation at Penheale - but for our local community and the planet.

People

Penheale has flourished over recent decades. A major contributor has been the support and commitment from local staff and businesses. Hence, we remain fully devoted to sourcing, supporting and forging long-term relationships with local suppliers, contractors and companies.

Cornwall

Located within a land of myth, legend and exceptional beauty, Penheale stands proudly Cornish. With deep roots forged over its thousand-year history, Cornwall has always been “home,” despite our close proximity to regional arch-rival, the county of Devon!

A place shaped by nature

Penheale’s relationship with local community has evolved throughout its centuries-old history. Previous incumbents were major local employers, Vicar to Egloskerry Church and rallied pro-Royalist trips against Cromwell! Today, we maintain tradition but with participation in local affairs, events and fundraisers.
